The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to assess the language ability of foreigners who wish to study, work or migrate to the English speaking countries.

IELTS is accepted as evidence of English language proficiency for study, work and migration in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK, as well as for study and work in the USA.

IELTS Types

Academic

  • To attend study programs at universities and other institutions
  • Medicine, nursing, law or engineering etc..

General

  • Secondary education, work or Migration
  • United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom etc..

Life Skills

  • For UK Visas and Immigration only
  • 2 types of Tests- either level A1 or level B1 .

Both levels include Listening and speaking. No Reading and Writing.

  • LEVEL A1 (16-18 minutes):To Apply for a family, spouse or partner visa
  • LEVEL B1 (22 minutes): citizenship/residence
