OET (Occupational English Test) is the English language test designed for the health care professionals and is widely recognized for registration, study and work in the healthcare sector, as well as for visas in some countries.
The health care professionals face real communication scenarios at work. As healthcare changes; the (OET) is being updated to ensure these remains relevant to the candidates.
Listening: Will be shorter(3 parts,3Tasks,45 minutes) Reading: Include new task types, short-answer questions, and a new broader range of documents(3 parts,3Tasks,60 minutes)
Results for the four sub-tests (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) will be reported on a scale from 0 to 500, alongside the usual OET grades (A to E)
Many of the tasks, the format of the test and the focus in each sub-test (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) will remain the same.
